Thank you to Karen van Oostrum for these links:
If you'd like to take part in live fieldwork lessons courtesy of Field Studies Council (Mop End) then click here to find out more. Each session is backed up with fantastic resources.
Also, with more of a local / informal learning angle, Karen has created some activities for people to try during lockdown. They are designed with the ‘daily exercise’ in mind. If you are permitted / able to go out for a daily walk, then these are things that you might want to look at along the way; they can be found here (the Prestwood Nature website). Below you'll find a couple of activities to get you started. If you like the April one, then you can look out for the next one on the Prestwood Nature website in early May.
Don’t miss out on red pandas, giraffes, Asian elephants, butterflies, tigers, fish, meerkats (and their adorable babies!), Eastern black rhinos, beautiful birds, poison dart frogs, jaguars, okapi and MORE!

Hey there my lovelies,
Even though I've not been at school with you all I've still been thinking about you, and thinking up some fun Science things for you to do. Seeing as you're all now stuck at home, which can be a little bit boring, I thought I would share some of the fun and easy Science things I've found which you will be able to do at home.
Missing you all lots and I can't wait to see you all again in September. Oh, and remember to wash those hands!
Love Mrs Button
