Below are all the photos from our fantastic week at the River Dart. Although the folders are labelled by teacher/adult the images within could be of children from any of the activity groups as cameras moved between teachers and activities so please do take the time to have a good look and enjoy remembering all of your superb achievements.
Good morning from the River Dart! The children have all had a fantastic time, but are looking forward to coming home.
The school office will keep you updated of our progress.
We aim to leave here about 11.30am and will stop for lunch en route.
You will receive another message when we restart our journey after lunch and also at about 4pm.
When you come to school please note:
1. All cars must be parked on the school playground to avoid blocking Clare road for the coach
2. Medicines have been returned to the children in their cases, with the exception of inhalers/ epi pens which need to be collected from teachers please
From us all!!
It’s Thursday morning and the children are all well fed and well slept!
Yesterday, 3 groups went caving and did high ropes, the remaining groups will do this today. Everyone has walked and climbed on Dartmoor with plenty of sun cream and ice cream. (Hopefully the right way round!). We are having a fabulous time!!
We will keep the school office updated about our return journey and they will inform you.
River Dart- Tuesday morning
Having arrived safely yesterday, we spent the afternoon building and sailing on rafts. No one completely sank but plenty got wet!
The evening activity was Round Robin; a chance for instructors to get to know their groups as well as more mud!
Today, some children are walking and climbing on Dartmoor while others are kayaking, canoeing and zip wiring!
Hopefully some photos will be posted this evening.
