This week we have been brushing up on our formal written methods in Maths, giving instructions in English and giving fitness advice in Science. We have also been talking in detail about sensible ways to cope with disagreements in the playground and what to do if you have worries. We do encourage the children to talk to us if they are worried about something in school. Please continue to reinforce this at home. However, if you feel a problem is on-going and has not been resolved, please do let us know. We have given one main message; Their happiness is the most important thing! We have also spoken to the children about the importance of having a routine at home for doing their homework so that parents are not continually nagging! Many children shared their ideas of rotas, timetables and ways to have fun with homework. Hopefully, some of the other children picked up a few ideas. If homework is a struggle, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Please remember that for homework this week, the children are bringing in photos and instruction books. The instruction books we have received so far are fantastic and the children are enjoying sharing these in class.
