Next week in English we are going to be moving on to our final topic of the year, looking at riddles and limericks. The children always find this a fun couple of weeks as they have the opportunity to create their own riddles and limericks. For homework this week, we would like your child to find a couple of examples of riddles and limericks. We ask at this stage that they don’t make up their own, just use existing ones. Please could they record them in their homework books, ready to share with the class next week.
We would also like to let you know how wonderful the children were on their trip to Pitt Rivers Museum, their excellent behaviour was commented on!
Many thanks
