Set: Friday 23rd March 2018
Due in: Wednesday 28th March 2018
We are learning about food chains - people are usually at the top of food chains because there are not many animals that get to eat us – but think about some other animals that are at the top of food chains (predators) – e.g. lions, tigers, eagles, orcas and crocodiles.
Draw a food chain to show what they eat (their prey) and their prey’s food. Remember food chains always begin with a plant. eg grass è grasshopper è toad è buzzard
Hard: Research one of the predators in the list above and draw a food chain with an arrow to link the predator to its prey and an arrow to link the prey to its food. (Remember the arrows go: food è prey è predator)
Harder: Research another predator and draw a food chain.
Hardest: Draw food chains from different habitats: e.g, one from land and one from sea.
