All of 6 Newton (who were in school today) for their super poetry performances in our Christmas Celebration of Poetry Assembly to parents. Well done to everybody, all words remembered, clearly articulated and performed - a special well done to those of you who have to go a long way out of your comfort zone just to stand on the stage - you were all brilliant. Special mention to Musa for performing his poem without his partner - good job Musa.

Friday 13th September 2019 - all of Year 6 were recognised in assembly today for their excellent attitude towards this week's transfer tests, they were all calm and sensible in their approach to getting the rooms ready and to the tests themselves.
This afternoon we held our House Activity Afternoon and all the Year 6s, on the whole, did an excellent job of leading their houses in a multitude of different team building tasks - please ask them about their activity. Some of the children stood out as future leaders and I hope next week they will be applying to be house captains.
