Roblox Alert
It has come to our attention that one of our pupils has recently been contacted by an adult pretending to a 14 year old girl while playing Roblox online.
Whilst this is a fun and popular game among our pupils, closer inspection will show that it is not a particularly secure environment for young children. The platform provides the opportunity for in-game messaging and chat rooms, allowing your child to interact with strangers online. This is something we strongly discourage for our pupils. Users report that although there is a blocking function, it is not very effective and thumbnails and pop-ups can include offensive and inappropriate language.
Please do take the time to check your security settings at home and find out which games your children are playing. There a lots of useful links regarding online safety on the 'Parent' section of our website, but in the meantime, here is a quick link to some information on Roblox:

Your support in keeping our children safe is much appreciated.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
