BIG congratulations to Ed for being the Star writer last week for his Agony Aunt letter and to Tom this week for his fabulous description of Puck in A Midsummer's Night Dream. Also receiving commendations this week for their Puck work are Henry, Phoebe, Jasmine, Jamie, Ella, Izzy, Maira, Ellie, Leila and Owen. In addition to these, Ella, Jaden, Adam and Leila have been working very well as a table this week, so need to be praised for that. Well done everyone!

Congratulations go to Henry and Leila for their fantastic use of atlases in Geography naming towns and cities; Huw and Maira for their amazing ballads about their time at Longridge; Nidula for always being polite and holding doors open for staff, visitors and pupils and to Owen for his enthusiastic attitude in every lesson and always being willing to help his peers.

Congratulations to Maira, Ed, Leila and Ella for super fantastic diary entries as a 15th Century woman. Well done to Madison who wrote a super comparison of the lives of rich and poor women in the 15th Century and a pat on the back to Lukas and Jamie who have been working very hard in Science and demonstrating their skills.

Congratulations this week go to Madison for her creative expanded noun phrases, Owen and Phoebe for their powerful opening sentences in their persuasive letters, Jamie for responding well to advice and adding extra detail to his writing. Ed and Joe for well written and persuasive letters, Ella for trying really hard with her handwriting and presentation in English and Maths, Jess for her sensible and insightful comments during guided reading and Nidulla for a fact- tastic science homeowork on planets!
